STEERING GROUP

The Steering Group is open to delegates from all organisations that work within and support the aims and ethos of the Charter.

• The Steering Group will normally meet once every two months except where circumstances dictate that they need to meet more often. They will normally meet in London, but occasionally may meet at venues elsewhere in the UK

• The Steering Group will hold an Annual General Meeting, usually in January, which will elect the following officers:

CHAIR
VICE CHAIR
SECRETARY /TREASURER
ASSISTANT SECRETARY

The current post holders are;

SECRETARY / TREASURER
ASSISTANT SECRETARY

The post holders will hold office for one year and will fulfil duties outlined by the Steering Group

• Each meeting of the Steering Group will work to an Agenda put together by the Secretary and which will be circulated for additions no less than seven days prior to the date of the meeting

• Minutes will be produced for each meeting by the Secretary, these will be circulated no less than seven days prior to the date of the meeting

• Each organisation that affiliates to the Charter will be entitled to send a delegate to the Steering Group, and other women may be co-opted onto the Steering Group from time to time, with the agreement of the Steering Group

• The Steering Group will seek, wherever possible, to have a presence at major events for women
